Making The Perfect Brats on the grill

Tailgating is an American tradition. Brats are a German tradition. While we may have had our differences in the 1940’s, the USA and Deutschland have something to come together over. We’re not so different after all.

Bratwurst are a fantastic grilled food. They pair superbly with beer, and are literally casings packed with flavor. It’s no surprise they’re popular in Wisconsin, a state famous for beer and German heritage. At Miller Park they have the Sausage Race at each Milwaukee Brewers home game.

They’re essentially a mega hotdog, a delicious giant sausage, full of fat and juices.

Ask any Wisconsite and they’ll tell you, Brats are the best. They’re a delicious, filling snack that will keep you warm in the winter, or make you feel all patriotic over the 4th of July.

Brats are also the perfect accompanying meal to beer.
